Amy Olds grew up in America, but has been living in the UK since 1989. After gaining her MA in 1997, she was an artist in residence in San Sebastián, Spain, where she was mentored by Julian Schnabel and Terry Winters.

As well as exhibiting widely in solo and group shows in London, Brighton, Cardiff, and Berlin, she has been commissioned both privately and for projects with interior designers. Her work is included in the Paintings in Hospitals collection.
